Looking for a funny DIY birthday card for someone whose odd jobs have been on hold for years? This overgrown cottage card features original cartoon artwork by Pembrokeshire artist Jim Titley – warm, witty, and totally unique. “I was born in this house and I will die in this house, but I will not maintain this house.” – the kind of card that gets read out loud.

Jim’s JimBungo range is cartoon-based, a little bit weird and wonderfully quirky, drawn in his distinctive sketchy pen-and-ink style. His humour sneaks up on you and rewards a second look, which is exactly why his cards end up on the mantlepiece long after the occasion has passed.

A funny birthday card for any reluctant DIYer – brilliant on its own or alongside a DIY gift, and a cheeky choice for a new home too. Perfect for a dad, husband, friend or brother, or anyone whose gutters have become a nature reserve.

The card is printed on premium matt textured board with a lovely tactile feel, and measures 15cm square when folded, making it suitable for Royal Mail standard letter post. The textured finish makes the artwork and colours really zing. It is blank inside, comes with a recycled kraft envelope and is wrapped in a Nativia film bag, derived from plant starches.

Holy Mackerel cards are designed and made right here in the UK. Add to your basket and give them a card worth keeping.
