Erica hand-sculpts each character in meticulous detail from polymer clay and sets them against her own painted canvas backgrounds. The Full Montage range brings these richly layered scenes to life with extraordinary detail – and this one bursts with colour: a woman cycling along the canal bank on a red bicycle with a bunch of tulips tucked in the basket, a man and his dog watching a packed canal boat glide past, Dutch gabled townhouses in red, gold, grey and orange lining the background, a Dutch flag flying from the boat, and birds wheeling overhead in the blue sky above it all.
