Never caught without the right card for a military history fan? This five-card pack keeps your card stash covered – warm, witty, and totally unique, with a naval hero, a dashing duke, a Lord Kitchener, a Spitfire pilot and a pair of saluting soldiers ready for every birthday on your calendar.

Erica recreates beloved characters from history in meticulous detail from polymer clay. She photographs them, adds her humorous text, and they are printed onto fabulous 300gsm board. This pack – part of Erica’s celebrated historical range – includes: Nelson in his cocked hat and red sash, declaring “England Expects… that every man will be getting the beers in on his birthday!”; the Duke of Wellington in scarlet tunic and gleaming boots, “looking dashed fine to boot!”; Lord Kitchener, moustache magnificent and finger pointing straight at you in classic “Your Country Needs You” style, with “YOU are another year older… STAND BY TO CELEBRATE!”; two First World War soldiers, and two tiny mice, all saluting for “ATTEN-SHUN! BIRTHDAY SALUTE!”; and an RAF pilot in flying jacket and boots, with a Spitfire sketched behind him, who has “just touched down to say… have a wizzo birthday, old chum!”

The ideal set to have on hand for every military-loving birthday on your calendar. Perfect for a dad, grandad, brother, husband, uncle, son, friend or colleague who loves his history, and anyone who has ever claimed they would have made a decent admiral. Beers in, salute out.

Each card is printed on premium 300gsm board and measures 15cm square when folded, making it suitable for Royal Mail standard letter post. It has a gloss finish on the outside and is blank inside with a matt inner surface suitable for all pens. It comes with a colour-matched envelope and is wrapped in a Nativia film bag, derived from plant starches.

Holy Mackerel cards are designed and made right here in the UK. Add to your basket and give them a card worth keeping.
